Hi All,
From listening to you all on the Global Map, I think "Amazing Grace" might give "Ocarina of Time" a run for its money as the current community fave:

Enjoy!
Very nice, I love the way it sounds on the Ocarina. And it sounds even better when improvising notes in between.
Very good!
However I suggest a slight change. It makes the song harder but it's the way I prefer it. Look at this:
First one sounds better..second one has one too many notes in the change you made

I like this new version, and I like the old version too. Thanks for sharing.
I took the top post and simply reformatted the score. I'm going to use this in a landing page in the appstore...
r.e.
Good job on both of the versions.
I must say that I prefer the 2nd version though. Notes 3-5 in the original version just doesn't sound right to me. Maybe it's just my experience with the song, but having 4 notes in the 2nd bunch of notes is accurate to me. 3 isn't enough.
Both versions are good though. =)
Hey Everyone! I really appreciate your contributions! I scored a slightly different version of the song too! Let me know what you think! :)
Here it is: Amazing Grace Version 3
What is Amazing Grace? Does it have any lyrics? If so, could someone please share them with me? Thanks.
Ama~zing grace.
How sweet~ the sound
That saved~ a wretch Like Me~
I once was lost~ but now I'm found~
And then I can't remember the rest. XD Sorry.
Clergyman John Newton (1725–1807), published in 1779
"Amazing Grace" is "without a doubt the most famous of all the folk hymns"
Amazing Grace Lyrics
"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.
T'was Grace that taught...
my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear...
the hour I first believed.
Through many dangers, toils and snares...
we have already come.
T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far...
and Grace will lead us home.
The Lord has promised good to me...
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be...
as long as life endures.
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
and mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess within the veil,
a life of joy and peace.
When we've been here ten thousand years...
bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise...
then when we've first begun.
"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.
John Newton was so very grateful to Jesus Christ for confronting him with his sin that he professed he had indeed been blind and it was by the grace of God alone that he was now able to see. The inscription on Newton's grave stone bears further testimony to the richness of God's grace.
