Which is better, thumbs or pointer fingers?

I'm trying to master pitch issues and I can't decide, I'm more coordinated with my thumbs but they're to big to hit the lil pegs even with autotune, should I bother trying with my pointer fingers?

I tend to find using both my thumb and my index finger when in touch mode to work best. It takes a good deal of practice, but you can play fast and accurately once you get it. I use the side of my thumb in the same manner I would slap my thumb against a bass string when playing the bass guitar.

Give it a try, use the thumb for the slide areas near the base of the device, and index finger for the notes towards the top of the device.

For blow mode, I use the thumb to hold up the phone, so I use my pointer, middle and sometimes even ring finger. Usually ring finger is only to play low "do" (the furthest away position).
