Recently upgraded to 3.0 OS

I recently upgraded to the 3.0 OS. I also re-installed LT.

I notice a difference in the response on my ITouch. The sound sustains longer than it did before the upgrade. I think that it makes some things better (smoothes out choppiness, more lyrical phrasing). The problem is in playing quick passages. It becomes more of a smear. I feel like there is less control. I reported this, but since my performances are backed up again, I figure that they are busy on that issue. I'm just wondering if anyone else noticed this. Could it be from the OS grade or the LT re-install. Yes, I need to learn to do one thing at a time. I re-started my Itouch several times already but the response time problem means that I can probably only play slow songs with long notes. The judges already think I'm boring since I've had a lot of judges bailing...leaving lots of ?s and plummeting scores. Is there a setting in LT or 3.0 that can adjust this? Any other suggestions? I feel my playing is out of control...please Help!

Regarding touch response, there is occasionally some lag with this new version where there was none before. This is problematic in a music/rhythm game where timing can make or break your score.

I have had the same problem ever since I updated the iphone software, or maybe it was an update to the game. It is very annoying and I can not play 80% of the songs I like to play anymore. Now I have to play slow long note songs or it just slurs together. I don't know how long I can play 'take me out to the ballgame', 'star spangled banner', etc. bleh. Whatever it is that changed, it is a HUGE noticeable difference, the instrument is broken!

The touch response seems much better to me today. (Yay!). 

It feels much better and there doesn't seem to be as much hesitancy in the leaf movement on the screen. Does it seem that way to anyone else?

I haven't been able to tell a difference. Last night, I performed a relatively fast-moving song (my newly-published "Defying Gravity" from Wicked), and still experienced some lag — dragging out notes longer and slurring in a few places.

I've noticed that freeing up RAM can help a tiny bit. Apps like MemoryInfo or Free Memory will do this for you, or you can just power your device off and on.
