Favourite Arrangements

I just thought it might be an idea for people to post their favourite arrangements. There is a huge amount out there, and the songs under the "popular" list seem to get played over and over and many of them are pretty ho hum...

So now I am going to blatantly promote my husbands songs (tee hee)...

Check out chubbiebunnie's "The Girl from Ipanema", "Kumbaya", "Peter Gunn", "Baby Elephant Walk", "Bring him Home" (from Les Miserable), "Happy Birthday" and my personal favourite "So Ronery" from Team America.

Self promotion aside (well...not really self but anyway), this is my small way of trying to improve the leaf trombone experience for everybody...and to hopefully reduce the amount of times I (and everybody else) have to listen to "Twinkle Twinkle" or "Yesterday".

chubbiebunnie's arrangements really are the cream of the crop in the entire Leaf Trombone library. There's a certain sophistication and joy in his music box accompaniments that take the whole app experience to a new level for both the judges and performers. It's hard to listen to his arrangement of "Girl from Ipanema" without grinning from ear to ear. Bravo!

(Doesn't hurt that you two are fantastic players, either. What great vessels to promote his work!)

Apologies for the double post. paradoxmo (who's also done transcriptions of Joss Whedon's Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog) just posted a fantastic version of the original Star Trek theme. You will be wowed. I promise.

By the way… I'm working on My Eyes from doctor horrible, should be done soon. It's cool but really hard to play! And long!
