Like some of the other threads I see the same problem where the tpain effect doesn't seem to be on during recording (on iPhone 3GS running os3.1 with stock apple headphones with built-in Mic).
While singing (mode set to tpain in tune) in either freestyle or over Tpain beats like Bartender i hear my voice with great reverb and harmonized but does not have the tpain auto-tuning effect being applied. However once I save and play back that same recording the tpain effect is applied and sounds great.
In the demos and videos I see people singing and the tpain effect is being applied live, not just in the recording playback.
I think the question that myself and others are looking for an answer to is how to get the tpain effect to play thru the headphones live while recording.
thanks
exact same problem. thought i'd add a voice to let you know it isn't just this guy. ^
i posted in the other thread, but now i just realised after recording the effects do get applied, but it's not doing it live.
Should it be doing it live? I'm using iPhone 3G with OS 3.1 and standard iPhone mic/earbuds.
Should definitely be autotuning live. Anyone with this issue should try deleting and redownloading a new copy and then installing the new copy. No second charge will come out of it.
