For some reason whenever I start recording anything on the I Am T-Pain app a really annoying buzzing comes out of the headphone jack. This doesn't happen with any other apps that use audio on my phone, so I don't think it's a problem with the jack. The phone also records the buzzing so it's there even during the playback. Anyone have any ideas about what might be wrong or how to fix it? Thanks!
Does restarting your phone/ipod (which one is it?) twice consecutively fix this?

Yeah, I have terrible problems with various mic/headphone setups and this app. Something is terribly wrong with it, no doubt. I use a lot of multitrack recording apps, and they work great. For example, with FourTrack I can record multiple tracks while monitoring others I have recorded. No problems. Crystal clear, great recordings.
With T-Pain, I get distortion, feedback, etc. There are problems with the gain, levels, record/playback. The "real" Antares plugin works fine in Logic, but this app is sick (and I mean that in a BAD way).
Please fix it, Smule. And test with a bunch of market mic/headphones to see when you get it right. Until then, this app is useless to many of your potential customers.
Restarting helps a little. Still not so good, though......iPod Touch G2, running OS 3.1.2
i love this app. but when i connect my regular 3.5mm headphone jack to either my auxilliary jack in my car stereo or in my home theater it produces a really annoying feedback sound... but when it is connected directly to external pc speakers or headphones they work fine... i would like to use this app to sing live to a small group karaoke style but it needs to go thru the amplifiers/sound system. can anybody tell me why it produces such feedback??
How close are you standing to the amps?
