I am t-pain problem! Please HELP

Whenever I try to run "I am t-pain" the error message "Unable to Initialize Audio" would pop up and the app would exit out.
I have tried to run it on 3.1.1 firmware the error message popped up.
I upgraded and ran it on a fresh restore of 3.1.2 and the same error message popped up.
I really want this app to work. Please Help!

My Ipod is not running in the background. It's an Ipod Touch 1G.

1st gen, the one without a speaker, correct?

That would be the problem then... the app does not run on the 1st gen touch.

It states that in order to use the I Am T-Pain App you recommend using headphones with integrated mic. Maybe you should tell Itunes to change the information on the app store.

Correct, it does say that we recommend using the headphones with integrated mic. However, it does not say that it works on the 1st gen touch anywhere. Under requirements it says 2nd gen touch and iphones.
