Connecting I am T-Pain to computer?

I'm trying to record a song using the T-pain app, but I would much rather record directly into my computer, rather than record and then put it into the computer. Is there a way to record right into my audio editing software? (FL btw)

Hi, There most definitely is.

Hi,

There most definitely is. Plug the phone/ipod into the aux input on the computer and proceed to record as if the ipod/iphone is the microphone.

Hi, how do you do this? I have an aux cable, so you plug the aux cable into the bottom of the ipod and into which port on the computer?

Also, you said this works for iPod touch, but of course I pod touch doesn't have a built in mic, and if you've already got the aux cable plugged in, you can't plug the mic into the ipod as well?

Could you please help me with this problem? Thank you

Three words, and that is all

Three words, and that is all I can say. Record the recording.

Help Has Arrived.

What you are actually looking for is called a "Attenuating Dubbing Cord" , You can get one pretty much anywhere, just search your favorite search engine for "Attenuating Dubbing Cord" and order one, they average (in price) about $7USD and they are about 6-7 Inches.

To use it simply plug one side into your speaker port on the IPOD/IPHONE and the other side into the MIC port on your PC/LAPTOP/RECORDING DEVICE, and record the output. Really it is that simple.

How does it work?

Record from a line-level output. It connects the earphone jack from a radio, cassette, CD player, MP3 Player, IPOD/IPHONE to a recorder's input or mic jack via 1/8" phone plugs on each end.

6.5-foot attenuating dubbing cord with 1/8" phone plugs at each end
Lets you record from a line-level output

As far as using the app with IPOD and working around the "No Mic" issue, I suggest you search your favorite search engine for "ipod microphone" , It does exist and will allow you to add a Microphone to your IPOD Touch (or any ipod for that matter)

May be a issue with the Idevice, if your email is setup properly withing the Idevice, it should work. Verify you have set up your email appropriately within your Idevice.

There are many methods of doing this, again using my above listed method, you can use a free open source application called Audacity, which will allow you to record the sound from the output. Save in MP3 Format (or supported formats)
