The lyric is written by Friedrich Schiller and the music is composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. The Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125 "Choral" is the last complete symphony composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Debut performance had been on may 7th 1824 in Vienna/Austria.

You're missing a note on the fifth line. It's currently "11 14 13 11 9 11 6 17". Needs to be "11 13 14 13 11 9 11 6 17"

I actually made my sheed like the meoldy was, how I played it on the piano when I had been arround six yaers old. It's a version for children in C Major. So it's not the original, but sounds exactely as I know it.

I tried to play it as you mentioned, but it does't sound like I expect it to. This 9th note doesn't fit in my measure and melody. Even thought it might be right in a other version of the "Ode To Joy".
