Some serius ocarina lag!!!

I don't know if this is something everyone experience with this app, I got it recently and I just LOVE it. But there is a bug that bothers the hell out of me. When I play for a while The blow function doesn't work, it's like it's not sensing that I'm blowing into it. The touch mode still works and if I restart the app it works so it's not the phone it self (it's a weak old iPhone 3Gs, not jailbreaked). But that's not the worst part, when I restart the app it's responding slowly whenever I change the chord. So everything I play goes in slowmotion but my breathing respond as fast as allways. So does anyone else have the same problem? Or should I turn my iPhone in for repair, also I have tried to reinstalled the app but it didn't change anything, I didn't redownload it but I don't want to pay for it again (obviously).

I noticed that the Sticking notes isue is something thay are working on, if you have this problem I can tell you it's a hardware problem and you can somewhat avoid it by holding a finger or on the chrome of the iPhone(the metal frame surounding it). Still the sound that stops working isl pretty anoying so if anyone has a sulution for that feel free to answer.

I doubt its your phone, so I wouldn't suggest bringing it in unless other apps are acting up in the same manner.

I would suggest redownloading a new copy though. You will not be charged a second time, as Apple has all sales on record and will not recharge for a download.

Also, if anyone else with a 3GS is having this issue, post here. Its possible that this is a bug with Ocarina on the 3GS phones running the 3.0.1 OS.

Are you sure they won't charge again? cause my friend deleted one app that he downloaded for 99 cents mostly to figure out if it didn't cost any thing and it said on app sotre that it did cost 99 cents, he never pressed it because he thought they would charge him, maybe it sais it will cost money but it actually don't? I'm not sure...

I am absolutely certain they will not charge you a second time (so long as it was a legal download, they have it on record that you paid). They do warn that you are about to buy an app, but the next pop up that comes up after pressing "ok" will say that you aren't being charged since you bought it already. Your friend should be able to completely re-download the app he deleted and not get charged as well. If they do end up charging you, which I have never had happen nor have I heard of it happening, then you can send an email to Apple and they are pretty good at straightening stuff like that out.

Give the redownlaod a try though, you will not be charged again.

I've notice that, after playing for a while (maybe 2+ hours), I occasionally get this lag problem also. I've restarted the phone, and this seems to fix it. Maybe the phone is getting low on memory. I've only had the key sticking problem a couple times. Not really a big deal. As for the mic quitting, I haven't expierenced this. I have seen videos on YouTube, where people blow quite hard on the mic, or even put they're mouth on it.

well, with me the same. Bought ocarina yesterday. No probs till today. Is there a solution yet?

Yes i do experience this, it is sometimes frustrating when you are on your peak of playing the song you like most. it suddenly will not function. so i have to restart it again. i got my 3gs only months ago and its legal (not jail broken), plus i notice it that it really drains the battery so fast. i tried comparing it to other app since i played guitar tried with iShred and pocket guitar the battery last long. but however i still love using smule ocarina. i hope it will be resolve sooner.
