Been itching to make music for a music video or movie, do an interpretive dance, or just answer the question “What makes you feel creative”?

Just make sure to Smulify your video somehow. You need to use as least one Smule app in the video - make music with Ocarina and Leaf Trombone, tell a scary story with Sonic Vox, or sing a song with I Am T-Pain.

The sky is the limit! Now just do your Smulean thang and Express Yourself.

At Smule, we make iPhone apps designed to help awaken the creativity that exists inside of everyone. Well now were ready to see that unlocked creativity in action! So get Smuling and make a video about it. Internet fame is just an awesome video away! Keep in mind though that these suggestions are just food for thought. And this video needs to be FRESH. You can’t re-submit videos from earlier contests.

The Prizes
  • One grand prize winner will receive a 3-night vacation for 2 to the San Francisco Bay Area- including a visit Smule HQ in Palo Alto!
  • Grand prize includes two domestic plane tickets and winners will stay at the beautiful Fairmont Hotel located at the top of Nob Hill.*
  • Twelve finalists (one per week) will receive a cash prize of $500 and a Smule T-shirt
  • One prize will be awarded to the video with the most views at the end of the 12 weeks
  • Various items such as Smule T-Shirts, applications, and iTunes gift cards will be given out at random times on the weekly Smule Live Broadcast.

Contest Rules
  • Videos must feature one or more Smule applications
  • Videos will be judged on overall creative expression
  • Must be 18 or older (or have consent of a legal parent/guardian)
  • One finalist will be announced every Monday of the contest period

    • *Total value of grand prize not to exceed $3,000. If the winner is local (rendering flights unnecessary) or traveling from outside the United States, Smule may provide some or all of the prize value ($ 3,000) in cash as appropriate.
